Spartacus was directed by Stanley Kubric and it recieved great praises not only for the content of the movie, but also its historical accuracy. Most scholars agree that Kubric did a great job portraying Ancient Roman life, and the story of Spartacus himself. It deals with slavery and how all of the slaves were treated during the Roman Empire, and depicting it flawlessly. The only part where scholars think that Kubric got his information wrong was when he said that Spartacus was raised by slaves, while scholars now believe that his family had some power. It is known as one of the most accurate stories that has ever been depicted into a film.
